Exprima Media is a software design and development company based in Portland, Oregon.  Exprima Media creates highly effective applications for the web and native mobile platforms for a variety of clients including the Portland Art Museum, Wiley & Sons, and McGraw Hill.  We have crafted applications for a diverse array of users including college students, medical professionals, and coffee farmers in Africa and the Americas.




The word ‘exprima’ derives from the same Latin root of the words ‘expression’ (as in to express yourself) and ‘to express’ (as in to squeeze the essence from a fruit, like a lime). It is derived from the roots ex- “out” + pressare “to press, push”. In Latin, expressus means “clearly presented”.

Founded by former anthropology professor Corey Pressman, Exprima Media combines the latest thinking in cultural anthropology, interaction design and the graphic arts to craft clear and effective media.
