The word ‘exprima’ derives from the same Latin root of the words ‘expression’ (as in to express yourself) and ‘to express’ (as in to squeeze the essence from a fruit, like a lime). It is derived from the roots ex- “out” + pressare “to press, push”. In Latin, expressus means “clearly presented”.

Founded by former anthropology professor Corey Pressman, Exprima Media combines the latest thinking in cultural anthropology, interaction design and the graphic arts to craft clear and effective educational media.
